We had a great time at Hitgeheim. The unit was very tastefully decorated. The service was excellent. The scenery is wonderful. It was a fantastic getaway weekend at Hitgeheim.
Here you can sit on the veranda of your unit and look out over the Sondags River valley with Addo in the distance. For bird watchers a dream. Beautiful top class units and excellent meals. Definitely worth a second and third visit.
It was our first holiday together as a family with our baby. Hitgeheim made every moment so special, with great service and delicious food. The staff was incredibly friendly. So glad we discovered Hitgeheim.

The location of the property is good, but sadly the access road was quite bad, and I found the food to be poor (there was a Kudu steak one night which I found inedible and no alternative was offered to me). Otherwise, stay was clean and security was good.
